This rule governs the authorization process for facilities involved in handling hazardous waste in India.

About Rule No. 9

Rule No. 9 requires that any occupier or operator engaged in the collection, storage, transportation, treatment, or disposal of hazardous waste must obtain authorization from the respective State Pollution Control Board (SPCB).
